- Crystal Palace eye Championship midfielder
- Eagles could replace Maxence Lacroix
- A Serie A frontman might arrive
Change is coming at Selhurst Park, and that includes the managerial dugout as Oliver Glasner bids farewell to Crystal Palace. The Austrian leaves after guiding the Eagles to UEFA Conference League glory.
Palace’s win over Rayo Vallecano in the final has granted them a place in next season’s Europa League. It also helps attract high-profile players to the club.

Crystal Palace dream transfer XI if rumours are true
Goalkeeper: Dean Henderson
Palace’s captain Dean Henderson will undoubtedly remain between the sticks. There had been reports earlier this year linking him with Tottenham Hotspur but the chances of him wanting to join Spurs are not high.
Defenders: Daniel Munoz, Chris Richards, Jaydee Canvot, Yann Bisseck, Tyrick Mitchell
There’s no guarantee Glasner’s successor will continue with a five-at-the-back system. But this squad is built for it and Pierre Sage could be the man who takes over the Eagles.
The French tactician often uses a 3-4-2-1 formation, which allows him to keep Daniel Munoz and Tyrick Mitchell at wing-back. Central defence is where there could be a change amid reports suggesting Maxence Lacroix could be on the move.
If that is the case then Palace need a viable replacement. Of the defenders linked with the South London outfit, Yann Bisseck might just be the best choice and the German is thought to be available for around €40m (£35m).
Midfielders: Adam Wharton, Hayden Hackney
Palace are reportedly trying to convince Daichi Kamada and Adam Wharton to stay. It does feel like at least one of them will depart and Kamada’s contract is up anyway.
Should the Eagles succeed in keeping Wharton, he’ll need a new midfield partner and that could be Hayden Hackney. The Middlesbrough midfielder is said to be the club’s top target and is valued at around £25m, per The Telegraph.
Wingers: Ismaila Sarr, Yeremy Pino
No changes outside are necessary except potentially signing Evann Guessand permanently from Aston Villa. The Ivorian has spent the season on loan and might have done enough to secure a long-term stay.
Ismaila Sarr will continue on the right of a front three and Yeremy Pino has proven he deserves to be the starter on the left.
Striker: Jonathan David
Up front, a big name might arrive, as Jean-Philippe Mateta‘s future remains uncertain. The French forward failed to secure a switch to AC Milan in January but could follow Glasner, who is in talks with the Serie A giants, to the San Siro.
The club seem to have Jonathan David in mind amid reports claiming they and Villa are keeping tabs on the Juventus striker. The Italians are open to a sale and the lure of playing in the Premier League could mean the Canadian arrives.
