- Crystal Palace face Rayo Vallecano in Conference League final
- TNT Sports decide not to show game for free
- Fans must have a subscription to watch
TNT Sports won’t be making the UEFA Conference League final free-to-air, which means Crystal Palace fans must have a subscription to watch it. The British broadcaster has decided not to air any of UEFA’s finals for free.
Palace face Rayo Vallecano on May 27th at Red Bull Arena in Leipzig. It’s up there with the FA Cup final as the biggest game in the club’s history.
Oliver Glasner’s men have been on a remarkable journey, and their Conference League fixtures have been broadcast on TNT. In recent years, UEFA’s three showpieces have been available to watch for free on YouTube.

TNT make decision over Crystal Palace final
That won’t be the case this year, despite three English clubs playing in the three finals. Arsenal face Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final on May 30th, and Aston Villa collide with Freiburg in the Europa League final today (May 20th).
Football fans are paying a fortune to watch their teams, and it’s extremely hard for Palace supporters to get tickets to their first-ever European final. BBC Sport claim that UEFA are “disappointed” and think it’s the wrong decision.
Palace have one more game left in the Premier League, and it comes against newly crowned champions Arsenal. Glasner’s men host the Gunners at Selhurst Park on Sunday (May 24th).
Ticket update
Palace have announced that their ticket allocation for the final has now sold out. The club was allocated 11,372 tickets for the clash with Rayo.
A waiting list is now open to all season ticket holders and members. There has been a huge demand for tickets given the magnitude of the game.
Red Bull Arena Leipzig has a capacity of 47,800 and is the largest football stadium in Eastern Germany. It will play host to two of Europe’s underdogs and is where Glasner will bid farewell to the Eagles, hopefully with a European trophy in his hands.
