Palace fans react to Guaita’s own goal against Sheffield United

Crystal Palace were left frustrated as they lost 1-0 at home to Sheffield United in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Eagles created a couple of decent openings in the first-half, the best of which saw McArthur test Dean Henderson from range after being left free on the edge of the box.

Christian Benteke then came close just after half-time. Wilfried Zaha found him in space 20-yards out but his shot was also saved by Henderson after he wriggled free of a defender to get his effort on target.

Despite Sheffield United failing to muster a shot on target up to this point, they took the lead as Vincente Guaita was left with his head in his hands. A corner was swung in from the left and Guaita caught the ball before letting it slip out of his hands into the back of the net.

These Palace fans reacted to his error…
