Wan-Bissaka rules out Crystal Palace summer departure

Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka has revealed that he will be plying his trade at Selhurst Park next season, putting to bed rumours linking him with a move away from the club, the Evening Standard report.

The 21-year-old, who has been with the Eagles since the age of 11, has featured in all but two of Palace’s 35 league fixtures this season and has attracted interest from all top six clubs in recent months as a result.

Manchester United have shown the strongest interest in the defender, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to bring in numerous signings at Old Trafford this summer, especially in a defensive aspect.

However, talking to the Evening Standard, the right-back, who recently picked up Palace’s Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season awards, ruled out leaving the club in the summer when asked about rumours linking him with a move away.

The situation just shows that my performances don’t go unnoticed.

But I am with Crystal Palace at the moment. That is where my contract is and that is where I will be next season.

I have got three years left on my contract. It says I am going to be there, so that is all I can focus on now.

The highly-rated defender’s current Palace contract runs to June 2022, so it appears that Wan-Bissaka’s value will continue to rise with every consistent display.

matchday.
