Crystal Palace predicted XI: Stoke City (A)

Crystal Palace go into this weekend’s match with Stoke City with their Premier League status all but secured.

With only two games remaining (Stoke on Saturday and West Brom next weekend) Palace are six points clear of 18th placed Southampton with a better goal difference.

If the Saints fail to beat Everton on Saturday, then the Eagles will be guaranteed survival.

Palace go into the match on the back of an emphatic 5-0 victory over Leicester City last weekend, with goals from Wilfried Zaha, James McArthur, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Patrick Van Aanholt and Christian Benteke securing the three points.

Given the nature of the victory, they will be confident going into this match with Stoke who are desperately fighting for their lives.

The Potters are 19th with 30 points, behind Southampton on 32, Swansea City on 33 and West Ham and Huddersfield both on 35.

They face a proverbial six-pointer on the final day against Swansea, and would love to go in to that match possibly level on points with the Swans.

Last time out Stoke picked up an encouraging point against Liverpool at Anfield, and will be looking to produce a similar performance this weekend.

Without further ado, here’s how we predict Palace will line up…

matchday.
