Predicted XI: Brighton (A)

In the build up to the Stoke game, Roy Hodgson had been speaking about how his side needed to start turning draws into wins at Selhurst Park after coming away from two positive performances against fellow relegation strugglers West Ham and Everton with just two points from six.

It would seem that his players heeded his advice as they played hard and Mamadou Sakho was in the right place at the right time to prod home what proved to be the winner at the death.

Now with some momentum behind them, the Eagles travel down the M23 to take on Brighton in what always proves to be a fierce and feisty affair.

These two rivals haven’t met since the Championship play-off semi-finals in the 2012/13 season where Wilfried Zaha’s brace at the Amex sent the Eagles to Wembley where they later secured their promotion back to the Premier League.

Here is our predicted XI.
