Palace defender looks for loan move

Crystal Palace defender Zeki Fryers has set his sights on a loan move to continue his recovery from an ankle injury.

In an interview with the Croydon Advertiser, Fryers spoke about his comeback, he said: “That is my aim and the sooner the better for me really.’

Fryers signed from Tottenham Hotspur last summer on a three-year deal and has so far made 1 appearance for the club. The former Manchester United youngster spent last season on two loan spells at Championship sides Rotherham United and Ipswich Town.

Following his loan spells last season, the young left-back has said that he would welcome a move back…

Ideally I would like to get a move to the Championship; that would be brilliant if I can. I would love that.

23-year-old Fryers tore his ankle ligaments in July, during the club’s pre-season training schedule. He completed his first 90 minutes of the season following his injury for the Crystal Palace U-21 side on Monday.
