GALLERY: Crystal Palace 2-1 Aston Villa

Crystal Palace entertained a youthful Tim Sherwood side at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon. Palace held off Aston Villa’s efforts to take a point home with them.

Steve Bardens/Getty Images SportThe Eagles currently sit top of the Premier League on goal difference, being one goal better off than Manchester United, who have only scored one goal of their own in three games, however Kyle Walker’s own goal on the opening day means the Red Devils are on two wins and a draw – the same as Pardew’s Palace.

City and Liverpool are yet to play their third league games so all could change in terms of the order of the early top 4, but Palace will certainly be within that boundary come the end of the game week.
